Paul Moreau graduated from the University of Alberta law school in 1988. After articles with a general-practice firm, he joined the Alberta Justice Department as a Crown Prosecutor in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. After four years there, he was transferred to the Appeals and Criminal Law Policy branch at head office, in Edmonton Alberta, and worked as Appellate Counsel for the Attorney General of Alberta until 1997. Representing the Crown in the Supreme Court of Canada and the Alberta Court of Appeal, Mr. Moreau also advised the government on issues of criminal law policy.
Of council. After a long career in customer service, Carl returned to school and graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1999. Since then, he has practiced with a small general-practice firm and as a sole practitioner, primarily in the areas of criminal defence and administrative tribunals. Carl joined Moreau and Company in 2007.
David received his Bachelor of Education degree with distinction in 2009 and Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Alberta. He worked as a summer student for the Offices of Robert D. Karanpal S. Aujla
Karan pursued his Bachelor of Laws with honours from the prestigious University of Dundee in
Scotland after receiving a part scholarship. Upon returning to Canada, Karan undertook and concluded the National Accreditation Examinations required by the Federation of Law societies of Canada.
Karan has always maintained an avid interest towards Criminal Law.
Damon exclusively practices criminal law. He has experience defending clients faced with serious and complex charges, including human trafficking, extortion, aggravated assault, drug trafficking and impaired driving.
